Located at a building that formerly housed Qatar’s fire brigade headquarters, Fire Station – Artist in Residence is now an official Qatar Museums art project.
When our client, Salam Hospitality, approached us to devise a strong and meaningful brand for their latest café, which was to be situated at the Fire Station, I was thrilled—I knew visiting artists (like me!) would spend a significant portion of their day there, using the premises as their retreat, and so I created the logo for MARSAM, which literally translates to “artist’s lab” in Arabic.
