As O2 stands for Oxygen, the name was chosen to be a breath of fresh air in the digital world, with a conscious approach that aims to be dynamic, relevant, fresh, contemporary, and diverse.
The concept of Al Jazeera O2 logo begins with the simple circle shape, the shape that doesn't have limits, it doesn't hold either a starting point or ending point; it keeps moving.
 Since Al Jazeera O2 is all about engagement with its viewers, we did symbolise that metaphor by welding number 2 with O letter to have one component combining both sides in one realm... The Al Jazeera O2 realm.
